Responsibility

Trying not to think about it, y'all. Here's a bit of my daily distraction:

I really couldn't be more excited about Dead Leaf Echo's upcoming full-length. I last posted on these cats regarding their "Pale Fire" release, specifically as regarded the Ulrich Schnauss-produced title track (which is really excellent). The group was kind enough to shoot me a track off their next release (entitled "Truth"), and it's still right up my alley. Seriously, why couldn't y'all have made it down south this past week...

Dead Leaf Echo - Truth
^^

Logan Lynn is one of those random-gems I'm lucky enough to receive in the old inbox every so often. (Ironically, Dead Leaf Echo falls into the same category...) Dude is a self-described "electronic-pop musician" out of Portland...and I really like his stuff. He has an album coming out in Fall 2009 entitled "From Pillar to Post." It's worth noting that this will be put out by Beat the World Records, the label owned/operated by The Dandy Warhols Though I'll stay tight-lipped about it...if you dig this track I'd highly suggest filing this release away in the "to-check-out" folder for the Fall; it's a really great release. (PS - I love receiving full pre-releases and listen to everything I get...but I especially love when I love the release!) I feel like this stuff could be immediately appealing to a large audience.

Logan Lynn - Feed Me to the Wolves
^^

I'll close things out with a nice little dance remix by UK producers Soda Boys. The track was originally done by Avenue, who I am completely unfamiliar with.

Avenue - Can You Feel It (Soda Boys Remix)

Back soon!
